| Bubble wash techniques : : : : : : |
| As the world’s largest down feather manufacturer, Kwong Lung has been producing all kinds feather materials for over 40 years with goods exported to Europe, U.S.A. and Japan. In order to improve the cleanliness and hygiene of the feather products, we procured 3 sets of computer controlled automatic washing machines manufactured by Germany’s L.H. Lorch Co. and developed high-tech washing techniques in cooperation with Japan’s Nishikawa Sangyo Co., Ltd. Bubble Wash efficiently removes impurities from feathers with the powerful explosive force of the bubbles. The cleanliness testing shows that our down feather materials have a turbidity greater than 700mm which surpasses the most stringent U.S. and European requirement of 550 mm。 |

High temperature treatment: feathers are cured in the drier (100C~120C) for 1 hour after being bubble washed, which not only recovers the fluffiness of the feathers, but also kills bacteria.Due to the sea island climate, the weather in Taiwan is warm and humid which provides a good environment for bacteria and fungi to grow. Kwong Lung has obtained the sole agency of Swiss Sandoz Chemicals LTD. and applies the safest and most efficient chemical treatment to the feathers. Hence we can assure more hygienic and cleanly bedding products to our customers。
