A.Understand your needs – People’s sensitivity to cold temperatures in Taiwan can be categorized into the following 4 types:

Extremely low tolerance to coldness	High quality comforter with 90/10 down & feather blend is recommended.	The fill weight of our standard double size down comforter is between 1.0~1.3 kg.
Low tolerance to coldness	Winter weight comforter with 90/10 down & feather blend is recommended.
Medium tolerance to coldness	Winter weight comforter with 70/30 down & feather blend is recommended.
High tolerance to coldness	Winter weight comforter with 50/50 down & feather blend is recommended.

Other options: (1) light weight (0.8kg for double size bed) all season comforters with 90/10 down & feather blend. (2) ever lighter weight down blankets

B.Study the spec of the fillings

Down / feather ratio	Down duvets contain more than 50% down Feather duvet contains less than 50% down	The higher the percentage of down, the warmer the comforter
Goose / Duck	There are 2 types of down feathers: goose down feathers and duck down feathers.	High quality goose down feathers are mostly offered with a certificate of origin.

The general test standard for down feather comforters is JIS, while the standard for feather apparel and imported feather comforters is F.T.C.

C.Grasp the fabric：

Origin	Germany, Japan, domestic products	Products imported from Europe are excellent in solid-color design, while those from Japan are with exquisite printing patterns.
Thread count	Minimum is 230. Higher thread counts such as 250, 272, 300 and above are also available.	The higher the thread count, the softer the fabric.
